I was raised by parents who valued hard work and the importance of education.
My Dad was a surgeon, my Mom a teacher turned full-time mother, and my partner is a local attorney.
Two sisters are registered nurses, one brother a medical doctor with his own practice, and a younger brother co-founded a news publication.
After a career in law enforcement, I founded an insurance agency while raising my daughter - also a graduate of Los Gatos High School and San Jose State University.
I enjoy spending time with two young granddaughters and instilling the power of a good book.
